Broadview CIO and BIA President Named a 2025 “Women Who Mean Business” Honoree by Albany Business Review

July 30, 2025
Broadview Federal Credit Union is proud to share that Susan Fogarty-Jacques, Chief Investment Officer and President of Broadview Insurance Agency, has been named a 2025 “Women Who Mean Business” honoree by the Albany Business Review.
The prestigious recognition honors dynamic female leaders who are shaping the Capital Region through business excellence, innovation, and community impact. Fogarty-Jacques’ inclusion in this year’s class reflects her exceptional career achievements and steadfast dedication to empowering others.
As Broadview’s first female Chief Investment Officer, Fogarty-Jacques is part of an elite group. Less than 10% of Chief Investment Officers in the United States are women. Since her appointment in 2024, Fogarty-Jacques has led Broadview’s Wealth Management division to record-breaking growth, with new net assets increasing by 452% in just one year. Her efforts have propelled Broadview to be recognized as a Top 10 wealth management firm in the Capital Region for the first time.
In addition to her role as Chief Investment Officer, Fogarty-Jacques serves as President of Broadview Insurance Agency. Her leadership style, rooted in empathy, innovation, and results, has strengthened the credit union’s advisory capabilities, expanded service offerings, and deepened member relationships.
"It is a joy to see Susan honored for her career achievements and contributions to Broadview and the business community. She exemplifies purposeful, courageous, and compassionate leadership,” said Broadview CEO Michael Castellana. “Her ability to deliver results while uplifting those around her makes Susan a true asset to our organization and the Capital Region.”
Susan’s impact extends beyond her professional accomplishments. She is a tireless community advocate, currently as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Northern Rivers Family Services and on the Albany Medical Center Foundation’s Development Committee. Her past service includes roles on the Albany Mayor’s Advisory Board for Cultural Heritage, founder of the Women of St. Jude, and both Opera Saratoga and Schenectady Symphony.
“Receiving this award at a time when we have so much incredible talent in the Capital Region, is a true hono. I’m proud to be recognized on behalf of Broadview and our incredible advisors, leadership and staff who work tirelessly to help our members feel confident about their financial future.”
Fogarty-Jacques lives in Clifton Park with her husband Dan and their five children. She is an avid runner, golfer, and music enthusiast whose dynamic presence inspires those around her, both professionally and personally.
The Albany Business Review’s Women Who Mean Business honorees will be celebrated at a luncheon this October.
