FOR TEENS & THEIR ADULTS

700 Patroon Creek Blvd, Albany, NY
Capacity: 80 attendees
Get ready for a high energy, game-based financial experience designed especially for teens! In celebration of Financial Capability Month, Broadview is hosting a FREE, in-person, hands-on event where teens ages 13–18 get to step into the world of real-life money management—guided and cheered on by a supportive parent, caregiver, or trusted adult.
What to Expect
This isn’t a lecture. This is Financial Independence Training (F.I.T.) for Life — an interactive simulation packed with surprises, movement, and real-world decisions. Teens will take on a future career, choose housing and transportation, manage spending, save for the unexpected, and discover how everyday choices impact financial freedom.
Adults are invited to join alongside their teens to support, observe, and experience the excitement as youth build money confidence in real time.
Why Attend?
- Fun, immersive, and fast-paced — teens move around the room making choices and facing challenges
- Real-life financial skills they can actually use
- Snacks, prizes, and special surprises
- Bring a friend! The more teens, the more energy and fun in the simulation
- Open to Broadview members AND the community — no membership required
- Broadview staff will be available for anyone curious about membership
- Broadview members ages 13–18 earn their “Accelerate Youth” $10 incentive just for participating
