March 11, 2026
Broadview Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the hiring of Rebecca Wood as the new Senior Vice President of Hospitality. Wood will bring her years of experience into a key leadership role that supports the credit union’s commitment to building an unmatched culture of hospitality and customer service. Broadview continues to prioritize hiring senior leaders with experience beyond the financial services industry, and Wood brings decades of expertise in creating exceptional guest experiences that will elevate how Broadview serves its members and community.
Wood joins Broadview following a distinguished career at Six Flags Great Escape Park & Lodge in Lake George, where she held several key leadership positions, including Communications Manager and Director of Marketing and Sales. Most recently, Wood served as Resort President, overseeing all facets of park and lodge operations, guest experience, marketing, and community relations. Her exceptional leadership earned her the 2022 Tourism Executive of the Year award from the New York State Tourism & Hospitality Association.
“Becky embodies what it means to lead with heart, purpose, and a genuine commitment to people,” said Broadview CEO Michael Castellana. “As we continue transforming what a credit union can be, we are intentionally bringing in leaders from hospitality‑driven industries because they understand the power of trust, warmth, and memorable service. Becky’s passion for creating exceptional experiences aligns perfectly with our vision."
Wood is a proud graduate of St. Bonaventure University where she was also a member of the school’s NCAA Division I women’s basketball team.
“I have been successful in both my personal and professional life by surrounding myself with people who make everyone else around them better,” Wood said. “It is very clear that Broadview, from the top down, is filled with incredible people who are driven to make a difference for each other, our members, and the community,” she said. “Broadview has the perfect foundation on which to build a world‑class hospitality program, and we are just getting started!”
In her new role, Becky will help shape and lead Broadview’s culture of internal and external hospitality, an initiative that will serve as a defining differentiator as the credit union continues to grow.
