Broadview Announces Natasha Pernicka and Nancy Cassella as Why I Care Award Recipients

Broadview is proud to announce that Natasha Pernicka and Nancy Cassella have been chosen as the latest recipients of the Why I Care Award. This award honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service and have inspired others through their volunteerism and leadership.
Natasha Pernicka, a longtime leader in hunger relief efforts, was selected as the member recipient for her work strengthening food access systems in the Capital Region and fostering collaboration among nonprofits, government partners, and community groups. Her advocacy and direct service have helped ensure essential support reaches those most in need.
Nancy Cassella, Broadview’s Financial Well-Being Educator, was chosen as the employee recipient for her dedication to empowering others through financial education and community engagement. Her efforts extend beyond the workplace, connecting colleagues with meaningful volunteer opportunities and bringing the credit union mission of “people helping people” to life.
