Broadview Partners with MVP Arena to Introduce one of the Region’s First “Reverse ATMs” for Cashless Events
April 20, 2026
Broadview has partnered with MVP Arena to launch a new, consumer-friendly solution designed to make cashless events more accessible: a Broadview-branded “Reverse ATM” that instantly converts cash into a prepaid card accepted throughout the arena — at no cost to patrons.
As entertainment and sports venues across New York rapidly transition into cashless operations, many guests who arrive with only cash will find themselves unable to make purchases for food, beverages, or merchandise. Broadview’s cash-to-prepaid-card kiosk transforms that moment of frustration into a seamless experience, allowing people to convert cash into a prepaid card that works anywhere Mastercard® debit cards are accepted inside MVP Arena, and beyond.
“Cashless venues are becoming the norm, but convenience shouldn’t come at the expense of accessibility,” said Broadview Vice President of Communications and Public Relations Ken Jubie. “This solution ensures everyone — including unbanked or underserved members of our community — can fully enjoy their experience at the Capital Region’s premiere entertainment venue, MVP Arena.”
Jubie spearheaded the effort to launch Broadview’s first reverse ATM in hopes of deepening a longstanding partnership with MVP Arena while reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to hospitality, inclusion, and innovation.
“Through our partnership with Broadview, the addition of a reverse ATM on the concourse is another step forward in our commitment to enhancing the fan experience. We’re constantly looking for ways to make every visit more convenient, seamless, and enjoyable—and this is one more way we’re delivering on that promise,” said Gary Holle, MVP Arena Director of Corporate Sales.

Designed for Access, Convenience, and Inclusion
The reverse ATM kiosk, located on the arena concourse near section 126, provides a simple, fee-free process: patrons insert cash and receive a prepaid card in seconds. The card can be used immediately for concessions, merchandise, and other in-arena purchases. It is also usable anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
Importantly, there are no fees to use the machine, aligning with Broadview’s member-first philosophy and commitment to financial fairness. MVP Arena manages all operational aspects of the kiosk, ensuring a smooth experience for guests. Its launch also comes at a pivotal time. New York State legislation that took effect this spring requires cashless venues and retailers to provide a compliant, no-fee, cash-to-card option for patrons who pay with cash.
“At Broadview, we strive to be proactive problem-solvers who reduce friction and anticipate needs. We do this for our members, local nonprofits, and business partners like MVP Arena,” said Jubie. “The reverse ATM supports compliance, improves the guest experience, and allows the arena to keep events running smoothly in a cashless environment. We are thrilled to support this effort. Plus, it was a joy to work alongside Gary Holle and the MVP Arena team, and our partners at kiosk manufacturer M3t to make it happen.”
The reverse ATM at MVP Arena is now available for use during events. For more information, visit https://www.mvparena.com/plan-your-visit/know-before-you-go.
